Old St. Nick officially opens the Christmas season. After hosting his annual breakfast for children, he enters Volant in grand style on a horse-drawn carriage. Join in the festivities! Strolling carolers, musicians, and more. Enjoy Christmas as it was meant to be, on an old-fashioned Main Street.

Annual Trout Stocking

Annual pre-season trout stocking by the Pennsylvania Fish Commission. Watch 15,000 trout enter Neshannock Creek at approximately 12:00 p.m. Don't forget the Volant VFD's All-Day Pancake and Sausage Fest.

Think Spring!
April 2009
Join us for fresh and new Spring decorating displays and demos throughout town. Participating shop will distribute stories of plant lore. Master Gardeners will be available to answer your gardening questions, and sell soil ph testing kits. The Volant Garden Club will host a speaker on Bluebird houses, and how to attract them to your yard. Kids craft - make and take bird feeder.

Independence Day Festival
June 27th, 2009
Celebrate in Small-town USA style! There will be an outdoor BBQ at the fire station. Our annual Nasduck 500 charity duck race will take place this day too! Things warm up as the evening winds down!! Enjoy music and a car cruise. Top the evening off with fabulous fireworks sponsored by the Volant Merchants Association, Northwest Savings Bank, Mareco, and The Elephant and Castle. Shops will remain open 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
